I am very pleased with this product (model # SS9). I have medium fine hair that has an unsmooth texture with no body. Straightening is the best look for it but I need the steam since my hair is delicate. There are not many choices out there for steam irons with the combing teeth. The ones that are available are plastic and break very quickly. This is a well made metal product, not too heavy in the hand, comes with great options - auto shutoff for one - and very useful accessories. Couldn't be happier
